Remove Spyware

Spyware can build up on your computer and slow your PC down over time. Spyware can sneak onto your computer from web browsing or web downloads. One way to to help your computer performance is to detect and remove any spyware. I would recommend Ad-Aware from Lavasoft.com for a free spyware cleaner.
To Remove Spyware

• Download a spyware cleaner
• Install the spyware program
• Update the spyware defintions from the internet
• Close all internet browsers and disconnect from the internet
• Run the spyware scan
• Delete or quarantine any spyware

I would recommend running the spyware scan twice the first time you do it. Sometimes I notice that the first scan doesn't catch all the spyware. Also, you should run the spyware scan on a pretty regular basis. I would recommend running the scan every month or so to make sure your computer stays spyware free.
